Allam Homes and Abson Plumbing- a long and successful journey

Tony from Abson Plumbing started his journey with Allam Homes in 1991 when Allam was just a small developer based in Penrith, providing quality homes and land opportunities. 

“At the time, I was working on a site near one of Allam’s first building projects and was approached by the Building Supervisor. He asked if I would be interested in new homes.  I went out to quote on their project, and we just clicked.  I’ve been a contractor for Allam Homes ever since,” says Tony.

Tony recalls the “good old days, which hold some of my fondest memories. Back then, the job sites had a different energy—light-hearted and social. You could pop in just to say hello, share a laugh, or tell a story. These days, things have grown more serious and fast-paced, but the heart of that early connection remains strong." 

A successful and cohesive relationship.

One of the reasons the relationship has lasted decades is that Allam has solid family values, which align with Tony’s business ethos. The most significant contributor to the partnership's success is that Allam has been consistent over the last three decades. " Even when the recession hit and through building industry lows, Allam has still had work for me,” Tony recalls.  “We have a good working relationship with compromise and plenty of flexibility.”  He is proud to say that Allam Homes is now his only client. "That’s not by accident—it’s by choice. They’ve earned that position through their values: honesty, transparency, and rock-solid family principles. They keep a tight schedule, communicate clearly, and always respect our time. In a business built on deadlines and pressure, that kind of integrity means everything."

When asked what made Allam so great to work with, Tony said, “They are honest and transparent, timing is always good, so I know when and where I’m needed at all times.”

Many builders out there can build a similar quality of home, but where Allam thrives is in its after-sales service. Tony recalls, “Their after-sales service is fantastic.” " Where most companies drag their feet, Allam gets on the front foot and attends to any defects or maintenance quickly.”

“If I had to use three words to sum up Allam Homes, it would be Honest. Friendly. Consistent.” And in this business, those three qualities are worth more than gold.
